  1. I need chlamydia test.and make an appointment.how much it is and are you open on sunday?

  2. hi Dr. Tan,

I recently went for a erotic massage in malaysia roughly about 14 days ago, it was the first time i ever had sex. During that time, the girl suck my penis raw without condom on and licked my whole body, including my asshole after massaging. But she put on the condom for me when we had intercourse, however, she proceeded HJ-ing me without the condom on until i ejaculated.

As i came back to Singapore, the first week seems normal until around 6 to 7 days later after the incident. I felt my pubes(pubes hair area just above the penis) started to itch and slowly started to show some kind of red dots that is not very visible yet. Adding on to that, my asshole area started to itch as well but both the itch is not very consistent, it only happen about thrice to four times throughout the day and night. For your information, i did shave my pubic hair (both penis and ass hair) after one or two days after the sexual intercourse happen. I was thinking it could just be the growing pubic hair that cause the itch.

Furthermore, i started having headaches at work, 7 to 8 days after exposure. And i also found out there are some kind of lumps that are evenly spread throughout the scrotum and penis skin ? which appear like cleaned chicken skin without feathers.

When i pull the penis skin, i also found two small dots that are not very visible just slightly below the penis head.

therefore, currently i am pretty worried about what i have been seeing on my body. I hope to get your replies and comments about this if these are some of the symptoms of HIV and STDs? And what test is best suitable for me? so that i could reduce the amount of money and tests that is needed to be carry out.

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Henry

The spots certainly may be due to the shaving you did as this is quite common but bearing in mind that you had unprotected oral sex you are at risk for STDs. HIV is less likely since you used a condom for vaginal sex. The only way for you to be sure is to get tested for STDs. That way you can be sure. Tests recommended at this stage would be a urine test and possibly swab tests but that will need to be assessed in person.

  5. Hi,

I have several scrotal cyst (4 to 5 mm size about 6 cysts) on my testicles which I would like to remove.

    Can you kindly advise:

    1. Can I claim the treatment cost under my upgraded hospital shield insurance plan?

    2. Is the local anastestic an extreme painful procedure?

    3. How many days of medical leave is typical required?

    Thanks

    Cheong

  6. Hi Doc ,

I had a oral sex with one of my colleague. and next day my throat start to irritation . I am afraid is it any kind of STD.

    • Yes it could be. Although STD symptoms do not come on so soon.

  7. Daniel

    Hi Dr,

around 7 weeks ago I had an risk exposure (condom broke).
Around 5 Weeks after this exposure I made an Combo Test at your clinic.
This was negative and your (very friendly) colleague told me this is considered conclusive.

Since around one week I have a non itching rash which is not too obvious and sometimes is more visible sometimes nearly gone. Mostly on the inner side of my forearms.

Is there other STDs which can cause this and for which should I get testet or should I consult a dermatologist?

    Thanks and best regards,
    Daniel

    • Obviously the rash is not caused by HIV. As for what is causing it, I cannot tell you over the internet. Please feel free to visit us for a medical opinion.
